If you are ever in need of anything feel free to stop by the student services office or send an email to Mrs. Halvensleben to get the supplies you need. You will find that the Comet Closet and Comet Corner are helpful resources within our school.
The Comet Closet is located near our Assistant Principal’s office. Here you will find canned food, hygiene products and cleaning supplies. Anyone is free to grab whatever they need. There are cleaning kits to take home that consist of a laundry basket, laundry detergent, dryer sheets and toilet bowl cleaner. You can also find toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair products and feminine hygiene products here. If what you need is not here, check out the Comet Corner!
The Comet Corner is across from Ms. Monroe’s room. Our Comet Corner offers various clothing options. You can find business wear for interviews as well as dresses for homecoming or prom. There are skirts, jackets, shorts, sweaters, socks, underwear, jeans and leggings. The Comet Corner is an excellent resource in case you need a change of clothes at school. School supplies are also available.
The items at the Comet Corner are generously provided by community partners and local thrift stores. If what you are looking for isn’t at either the Comet Closet or the Comet Corner, please let student services and they will be happy to help you find what you need.
