JJ plans to go to the next level in education to study mechanical engineering. He has applied and hopes to attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall of 2026.
Affiliation to the Max
While maintaining his academic standards, JJ has found the time to participate in a multitude of clubs and sports, including football, wrestling, FBLA, FFA, Build Moto, Skills USA, ski/snowboarding club, student council, and the math team! His favorite extracurricular accomplishment is qualifying for the state wrestling tournament.
Insight into the Drive
JJ has the motivation to try his absolute best in whatever he is doing, which primarily derives from the influence of his parents and his constant goal of finding success. Mr. Bell, his Build Moto advisor, has also been a large part of JJ’s ambition, as he has become a mentor for a multitude of aspects in his life.
Looking Back
Over the course of these four years, JJ has shown that it’s not only his accomplishments that are worth remembering, but the ones that he guided that also hold a place in his heart. With homecoming being the most Comet-spirited week of the year, JJ has found one of his favorite memories in the girls’ powderpuff football game when they won as a result of his head coaching last year.
