Prom has been an American high school tradition since the 1920’s. It’s an exciting thing for many students. A celebration that has been around even longer, is Mardi Gras. It has been celebrated since as early as 1699. It is a colorful and vibrant party, traditionally using green, purple, and gold. It is no wonder why prom adviser, Carri Brandt, and the prom committee have chosen this to be our prom theme this year at DDHS. Like in previous years, the prom will be hosted at Lakelawn Resort in Delavan. According to Brandt, the prom will be held on Saturday, May 11th from 7-11 pm.
You can get tickets beginning on May 6th – May 9th in the AD office before and after school and during lunch. Tickets are $35, with all fees paid previously. Enjoy the vibrancy and liveliness of Mardi Gras at DDHS prom, Bourbon Street Bash, this May!
