Every morning I wake up very sleepy and mad. But then I stood up. Life is about waking up and standing against obstacles like your alarm. The perseverance for me to get out of bed everyday is similar to that of a car starting cold in the morning. Though it doesn’t want to, it perseveres. Doctors do many things they don’t want to do like prostate exams and colonoscopies. I also do things I don’t want to do like writing essays and showing up to school. Therefore, I know I can handle the hardships of being a doctor just like waking up on a Monday morning without coffee. My cat also wakes up in the morning. But the difference between cats and me is that cats sleep so much more than me. Multiple naps every day. They don’t even drive to school. They are lazy, useless animals, yet I still take care of my cats because I like them. People are lazy like cats but I still will take care of them despite my despise for them because even though they are lazy I still take care of them. This is why I should receive this scholarship for becoming a doctor because I persevere.
